kappamode.out

This file contains the modal thermal conductivity generated by the homogeneous nonequilibrium modal analysis (HNEMA) method. It is generated when invoking the compute_hnema keyword.

File format

This file reads:

\[\begin{split}\begin{array}{ccccc} \kappa^{x,in}_{1,1} & \kappa^{x,out}_{1,1} & \kappa^{y,in}_{1,1} & \kappa^{y,out}_{1,1} & \kappa^{z}_{1,1} \\ \kappa^{x,in}_{1,2} & \kappa^{x,out}_{1,2} & \kappa^{y,in}_{1,2} & \kappa^{y,out}_{1,2} & \kappa^{z}_{1,2} \\ \vdots & \vdots & \vdots & \vdots & \vdots \\ \kappa^{x,in}_{1,n} & \kappa^{x,out}_{1,n} & \kappa^{y,in}_{1,n} & \kappa^{y,out}_{1,n} & \kappa^{z}_{1,n} \\ \kappa^{x,in}_{2,1} & \kappa^{x,out}_{2,1} & \kappa^{y,in}_{2,1} & \kappa^{y,out}_{2,1} & \kappa^{z}_{2,1} \\ \vdots & \vdots & \vdots & \vdots & \vdots \end{array}\end{split}\]
  • The output is in units of Wm\(^{-1}\)K\(^{-1/2}\).

  • The indices denote the output number (left) and the bin (right).

  • Each output comprises \(n\) bins, which are determined by the arguments of the compute_hnema keyword.
